The cliff notes for those interested:
1- In which we look at Instagram glitches. How to think about glitches and how to approach your workflow if glitches are never ending.
2-Autotagging on Instagram business accounts and them glitching.
3- What to do if you would like to stop having your posts auto link to products: There are 3 main options.
(A) Delete your catalogue of products so that there is nothing that can be auto-tagged.
(B) Deactivate your commerce account (and honestly if you are a small playing in the IG world I don't think commerce accounts are necessarily the right thing for you in the first place).
(C) Change your account so that it is a personal account instead of a business one. You will lose a lot of insights but you can always turn it back on later if you find you really miss them.
Before you do any of these things though I highly recommend that you do a backup of your account in case of mishaps.
4- In which I was a bit bold and offered an honest opinion on the Meta AI app and AI in general.
